Ελληνικα Between October 19th-21th 2018, in Thessaloniki took place the last european meeting of the project -”Holocaust in Greece”, a meeting attended by 24 participants from 6 countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia and Serbia. The event aimed to allow participants to get a deeper understanding of the history and culture of the Jewish community in region before the Holocaust, cultural diversity of Europe as well as the scale of the tragedy of the Holocaust. The agenda of the meeting included: a visit to Jewish museum in Thessaloniki, a presentation about the Holocaust in Greece, visits to Synagogue of the Monasteriotes and Freedom Plaza – Jewish Community Holocaust Monument.
